This year marked the third annual Kraatz-Dobo "Texas Inspired" 4th of July party.
Things started out much like last year with meat going onto the smoker sometime in the early evening of the 3rd. This process lasted all night with as checks as infrequently as we could stand it.
The St. Peter 4th of July parade is always a highlight (and a break from cooking for a couple of hours). We got to hang out with M's friends for work -- always fun.
I was accused of importing the brisket from Texas -- I'll take that as a compliment!!!
40 hours awake - 2 1-hour naps = me falling asleep in the middle of a party!

Thanks for helping create a fantastic fourth!! It is great that we have come up with such a tradition, hopefully it continues for many years.
